If there is any rust flakes or debris on the burner, it will often times ground itself out and not run on gas mode. To clean the burner and orifice it is recommended that you use steel wool on the burner and air on the orifice. DO NOT poke anything into the orifice as this will increase the flame size and is a fire hazard.

I have a Norcold N811RT S/N 16620149 it cools fine on AC in auto but will not work on gas, either in auto mode or if the switch is moved to gas the green light will flash 4 times. If I turn it off and then back on in auto with shore power it will cool and work.
