To me, CW means Kent Watch.
I have seen a lot of science fiction on the UPN Broker Network and the WB Tribune Company. (At one point, the sci-fi show was the studio's flagship and the show's flagship.) But since the city and youth programs formed an important ancestor, they no longer focused on programming. Networking and marketing. Even science fiction franchises get out of the fish water and break up without a replacement for a long time.

UPN embraces a more modern urban perspective, while WB focuses on young women who are primarily suburban. Apparently, the Fall Schedule runs on Sunday at the usual UPN prices for the urban crowd, and the rest of the week passes two auctions in the Youth Lounge, with dramatic programming in the style of WB's top American models.
Losers in society seem humorous and inventive. The old WB is gone ... and the UPN has just been crme de la crème.
Over time, it will be interesting to see if these broadcasters combine their auctions with each other and use this format or lose one of their auctions.
