I saw a video of a police officer trying to get through and I'm sure all the drivers knew he was stopping for safety, but neither of the two Amish did. The policeman ordered them to stop, but they refused, so he followed them to the side of the road, where they stopped and left. He asks one of the men to talk to him and he asks if he knows the rules of straw hat. He added that government law takes precedence over Amish law. He comes back and says that the straw hat law is still in force and the video is over. This video is from Wisconsin like me. And I don't know what happened. please explain. Blessings!
Me and Wisconsin. There are no rules for straw hats, and the Amish will not claim them. If you see Amish strollers in Wisconsin, they have battery-powered lights while driving to comply with Wisconsin rules. If there was a straw hat law, the Amish would not have lights like this link:
