Safewatch Pro 2000
I have SafeWatch Pro 2000 Edit and the keyboard memory is running out ... Where can I find new memory? 3
I have a SafeWatch pro 2000 adt (Ademco Vista 20se) and the keyboard is gone. The circuit board is OK. Do you know where I can get a new one, just a clear rubber pad with numbers, or can I use the conductor pad on the back of the keys for better communication (except for a small alcohol wipe?) )?
Unfortunately, this is already installed. After all, you probably have an old system, so maybe it's time to consider an alternative, and if so, here are some suggestions. ADTs traditionally lag behind these features or, if offered, are expensive. Plus, you'll be getting newer systems for less money today, so it's worth the trip and should have some good cices. If you follow ADT, you can spend money fixing what you have, but most importantly you get a system that works.
As far as the current system is concerned, it really depends on what you want your system to do and what a good system can do today will amaze you. For service, the only secure system uses mobile monitoring (no power lines required, no power lines to be disconnected!). Everything else is old news, because the internet connection can be easily disconnected. In addition, the company does not need to charge extra cell phone fees or monthly cell phone monitoring fees. Below is an interactive service that will amaze you with what you can get today. So this is what you should look for:
1) 100% cell monitoring which does not require driving and does not require cutting.
2) Ability to disarm / disarm over long distances.
3) Dedicated app for IPN, Berry, Android
4) Notifications via email and SMS about everything that happens in the house: opening doors, etc.
5) Live video display service and motion triggered clips from any web connection (including Pne)
6) Smart control of my lights and thermostat remotely
And here's a great article with the top 3 questions you should ask any alarm company:
