P1337 Honda Civic - How To Discuss

P1337 Honda Civic

Does my Civic 98 have OBD II code P1337? 3

The indicator light goes on when I buy a car from a friend. Only one code appears on my OBD2 code reader ... it says Manufacturer P1337 or Ms. Controlled System. I've done some work and wonder if this is really a crankshaft position sensor.

Replacing the sensor with a new one will turn off the power indicator? I've heard that my car would work if it had a crank shaft itself, and if it had a full sensor, the car would have trouble singing, but my car doesn't have one ... ... just bad floor or Any problem with this sensor is a manufacturing problem ????

PS I don't have a manual.

To test the resistance between pins 1 and 3 (1,63.2 kOhm) you need to buy a cheap DVOM (Dial Volt Ohm Meter) from Auto Zone Store, Advanced Auto Parts. Otherwise, replace the CKF sensor.

This is where the sensor is. You will need to remove several parts, including the timing cover, crank shaft pulley, etc. To access the sensor. This image will help you: Sensor oil, refrigerant or even sensor tip can match the code:
