Accepted in the Navy's nuclear program with GED and 45 college credits? 3

I have one GED and 100 college credits at 100+ level from community college (one quarter, not one semester). I took the practice test at work and I got 97 out of 99 marks. I also took one of the ASVAB long-term practice tests and got 100% reading comprehension, 100% math, 96.7% math, and 85% vocabulary (English is mine. After the practical exam, I should be much better at ASVAB). Also learned to work with square equations to pass the exam. If I do ASVAB I hope to get very high marks.

My recruiter told me I wasn't eligible for the nuclear program because I had a GED instead of a real high school diploma, but I learned that if you have more than 15 college credits in a high school basket, So I'm a grade drop so I was given. Can anyone explain to me?

update

I wonder if I can join the nuclear program. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately GED is working and responding to you. The Navy can only employ 5% of those who have not completed high school. If your recruiter says you are not eligible, experience shows that you are not eligible. Recruitment in terms of points, the more qualified the candidate, the more points the recruiter will get. Women who perform well on ASVAB and qualify for the nuclear field deserve higher points. Simply put, Audi will reject you if they can hire you as one of them.

The Navy doesn't see the situation behind GED, just the fact that they dropped out of school. Unfortunately, they view it as a lack of commitment, regardless of the reason for leaving. I do not agree, but it is my responsibility to respect the rules that have been established. You are still eligible for a great job that will give you a secret pass. Talk to your recruiters to see what will make you the most qualified. However, you will not know which jobs are available until you go to MEPS. If you are still interested in the benefits of the Navy, keep an open mind for any task. They will not offer you a P job if you score in the 90's, but they will not take you to MEPS if your job is stuck in a particular job.

Good info The Nuclear Field Coordinator always checks the MEPS website for applicants with scores above 80. They will review your GED and your application. Corn !!! If you have already enrolled in another job (your commitment to serve your country in every way possible), the NF Coordinator may receive an educational waiver for admission to the NF. It's not sure, but there's a chance. The question is, are you just watching or are you open to other options? Its the best.

Because some ships have extra capabilities.

And Nuc MMs and ETs are one of those fees.

For evaluation in the Nuclear Field (NF) program, all candidates must meet the test evaluation criteria (no exceptions) and other criteria set out in NAVMILPERSCOMINST 1306.11 (series). All applicants must have a high school education (GED is not acceptable) and have completed at least one year of graduation with a minimum C grade. Minimum listening requirements: Frequency (HZ) / ISO 500/30 1000/30 2000/30 3000/45 4000/60 50008000 / None

The Navy takes its NUC program seriously.

To answer your question, no, you cannot participate in the Navy's Nuc program.

Until you get a higher scholarship.

There are high schools where you can go for degrees and get in touch.

Doing so may be in your best interests.

Instead of the usual human reaction to it, I already have more than 45 semesters, I will not waste my time on it.

Do you really want to be a navy navy?

This is a question you should ask yourself.

If you do, you should consult with recruiters and find out which course is eligible for the High School Diploma.

Then find out what you need to do to get this degree.

Your GED = HS Diploma with your college credit

Sounds like a smart cake, grab it and find a new recruiter if needed. With the results of Asvab you can get, they will knock on your door.

This is because you have more than enough college credit (15) to graduate from high school. I will try to recruit another.

If your recruiter says no, the answer is probably no. Try other recruiters and see what they tell you.
