Is this fraud?

This is a great site. I never actually participated in using this site (I was selected through my agent and actor login, but I never read anything to prevent the site from being fake. Recommended and mostly open calls / domestic calls and cheap goods), movies that are usually made only by agents.

But if I remember correctly, I think I had to pay to be a player ... but I definitely don't remember.

This is not a scam, this is the website of the most reputable publication in the entertainment industry. Since 1960, the uprising has not lasted 50 years.

But, as Gray Area says, there is no way to guarantee a legitimate audition there or anywhere else, even if the site is 100%. Anyone can post an audition, and newspapers do not have the resources to verify the authenticity of every ad, even if it has been published. However, there are enough experienced backstage users to remove cast calls from the site.

I pay by year (not appraisal month). I apply for several positions per week (permanent for 2 months). I received an email about a 3 hour volunteer position at the desired location (please specify preference), so yes, I suspect this is a fake site. I just pray for full tears.

Basically low budget student movies. I presented all 56 different films and got no response. I have paid 1 month and I will not issue. Also, it seems that they are releasing something just a few days after the audition, which means that the director left the role when it was released backstage.

No, this is not a scam. This is a simple tool an actor uses to find auditions, but that's it. Anyone can post auditions on this site. It is your job to discover what that is and to bring it about. I question your business practices. I just received my credit card statement and I found out that I had a CNN bill from them at 195.89. I called them to find out if they had renewed my daughter's membership with a registered credit card, which no longer exists. Since my daughter has a credit card in my account, this company can charge with my new card number. They try to take him first and heal him, as they say. I told them they should have contacted me by now. Instead, they transferred it to my new card, which my daughter no longer has access to, not even her number. My daughter told me that I had not been contacted about these allegations. So be careful who you sign up for.
