I was thinking take it back to a carb, 600-750 CFM 4 bbl on a Performer-class intake manifold. That, and decent headers (or exhaust all the way back like Banks Stinger) is about as far as you can go without changing the cam or raising the rpm of the torque peak too much to be useful in a motorhome.

How many miles does a 1979 Dodge Sportsman have?
1979 Dodge Sportsman Motorhome. only 43000 miles. Got it from my grandpa. We used it twice and had a blast. Moving to a new house with no room to store it. Need it gone in the next month. This is a super clean well maintained RV. Fulid changes regularly. Starts up every time. Onan generator works.
