How do you use thread lever?
The thread take up lever is threaded by guiding the thread up the right side slot.
- Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the hand wheel toward you.
- Make sure the mark on the hand wheel points up, or just press the needle position button twice to raise the needle.
Why does my thread keep coming out of the take up lever?
Probably because thread has a twist to it, and it has to unwind off a spool in the upper thread path of a machine and the take up lever is going up and down and if machine made past the 1970’s or so it has more open slot there for easy/quick threading, instead of more an enclosed hole in it instead.
