Heating Mode Pump Overrun
What does it mean when your boiler says the pump has run out? 3
I have a solid boiler and when I press it it shows S7 which according to the code list means pump is full. But the manual does not tell you what to do. The S14 appears when the heating is working properly. Do I need to do this?
updateThe first floor radiator took longer than the one above. He was fine last winter so I don't know why there is a problem now. I was bleeding and that's not a problem.
Pump over shoot occurs when the boiler stops but the pump keeps rotating. As a rule, it is used to remove waste heat from the boiler to the radiator.
Hello jackie
As mentioned earlier, the boiler with S7 switches to pumping operation on its valve.
After the boiler has stopped heating or when the boiler stops using water, if the boiler shuts down, the boiler pump (overheating pump) can continue to run for about 10 minutes. This is normal and happens with all modern boilers.
Once you remove it and everything is fine, all you can do is raise the radiator as high as possible to try to get more heat into the radiator above.

Heating Mode Pump Overrun
An inertial pump is a pump that works after the burner is turned off. This prevents the build up of excess heat which can occur if there is no water to drain you. This is a nice feature of the design because without it the boiler can heat and boil the water in the heat exchanger more.
It causes pollution and potential damage. That's why modern power switches have crossed the line. When water is removed, it continues to flow long enough to dissipate excess heat. So don't worry unless your boiler is working.
