Good First Jobs For 16 Year Olds
What is the first good job for a 16 year old? 3
I turned 16 in January and my grocery store didn't hire me or sign up. I love Barnes and them and I want to work there but I'm not sure ... I feel like that because I'm only 16 years old. Maybe I want to work in a mall? And I know a lot of parks are for rent but I have 2 parks closest. I'm getting my driver's license in August and maybe I'll get the car soon because I have it. Maybe I should wait until August? But I want a job for the summer ... so I need some advice for a good position. I also live in the Round Rock, Austin and Cedar Park areas of Texas, if that helps! Thank you very much!!! :)
updateAnd some jobs say they want skilled workers but what if someone doesn't work for me? Your logic = s.
The best job for a 16 year old would definitely be a fast food restaurant. It may sound like a clutch, but think about it. They still need workers (especially in the highly educated areas), they want to employ young people because of their weekly limit, and young people cannot get court orders.
But here are some other ideas.
Gas stations (some only rent from the age of 18)
Local food market
Glassware
Petco / Petsmart
Dog race
Best Buy

People may not hire you because you never had a job. Hiring him would be a risk because there was no former employer you could contact to find out what he was doing. I will say at your command. Maybe you can volunteer somewhere and they can be your reference? McDonalds usually employs everyone. 14 years old is your specialty. You can work there, but I worked at McDonald's when I was 16 and I'm sorry. I needed about 30 pounds to work 8 months ago! It's not hard because they give me free food every shift so I eat almost every day! (It's hard not to if it's free!) I also conclude that McDonald's is one of them. However, it is important that you have a good reference. Responsible swelling! =) Good for me!
Unfortunately, not much until you want to work as a cashier, courtesy agent or restaurant waiter. Unfortunately, in the last 10 to 15 years, many employers, including restaurants and retail stores, have made applicants at least 18 years of age (some of whom are 21 years old) and have a bachelor's degree (or GED) and some Has to be a school. Advanced Diploma (Bachelor's, Bachelor's, Masters, etc.) as well as a valid driver's license and vehicle. When you rely on travel, traffic or parents to get to and / or go to work, as I have spent most of my life, even if work is not more than a block from home, more More employers won. He doesn't even hit you with a 39 1/2 foot stick. Another factor you may find is that when you don't have good credit (you don't have a loan, a medical bill, or a clean bank account), you don't have a fixed address for a while. (This has been one of my problems lately.) Less than six years because I've been in a residential institution for a long time, three years in a group of people with developmental disabilities or other problems like mine, which two years ago. Tragically ended) and other factors.
This page can help you.

I think the best thing for a young person is to find a job online.
Distribute newspapers or work at the McDonald's store.
