Focus Groups

A market research tool in which small groups of customers are invited to participate in guided discussions on a topic under study.

A way of collecting qualitative research about users or customers by bringing them together in a physical or virtual group and asking them questions or guided exercises to learn about behavior, values, beliefs, desires, or responses to concepts at the time of hiring . homogeneous, diverse groups to encourage open discussion and then compare results between groups. Focus groups are small and can collect more detailed information than questionnaires or other methods. Data is not always representative of all users or customers unless it is well developed with input from multiple users or customers or intended users/customers.
