In fact, the direction of the piercing is irrelevant to the piercing itself. I've done dozens of them and it depends on how tight or elastic the skin is. Some people do not even have the right skin to suffer from rejection or blemishes. However, there are usually several ways to get this hole (liner tube, clamp, freehand) and each piercing shape will be comfortable. Most importantly, how many of them had to be pierced, had many problems with it and many of them had recovered from it. A good piercer will have a portfolio to showcase his past work, even a good piercer may not have many piercing images, but a serious piercer will make a big difference. If the piercer never paints it but claims it can go ... there are a lot of tricks, don't feed the abrasive ones, spend your money on a punch that knows what it is doing ۔ Do your work!
