If you drive without the coolant cap for any length of time when the engine gets up to temp it will boil over out of the reservoir. You will lose at least half of the coolant in the system if you drive like that for a few days. Running the engine any longer than that may cause the engine to overheat.
How do I add coolant to my RV?
Add Antifreeze Open the faucet closest to you. You will turn on the hot and then cold until you see pink fluid. You will then need to do all faucets, including low point valves. Make sure you do not forget your showers (inside and out) and flush the toilet until you see antifreeze.
