Do Electric Heaters Produce Carbon Monoxide
Can you get carbon monoxide poisoning from an electric or just a gas heater? ۔
We have central heating and air conditioning and I need to know if carbon monoxide poisoning occurs only in gas heaters or there is a risk of electric heating.
Carbon monoxide is only released from gases. This is not electricity. Do you have gas pipes for use elsewhere? Such as stove, place, kettle. When they do, they can produce carbon monoxide. If your use is all electric, as long as you don't park your car in a garage with the garage door locked and the car running, there's nothing to worry about. MDR
Carbon monoxide is the product of combustion, which means that the gas heater generates heat. Electric heaters carry large amounts of electricity through these wires (such as when opening iron). Because of their function, electric heaters do not emit carbon monoxide during normal operation. If there is something wrong that can produce carbon monoxide in an electric heater, it will also produce smoke, clearly indicating that it is wrong. The biggest danger from electric heaters is the spread of water. Due to the large amount of electricity they use, they can pose a Sck hazard (but most likely a circuit breaker or circuit breaker will die while traveling). Their biggest problem in normal operation is that, in terms of design, they are not as efficient as gas appliances and therefore they are more expensive. It applies to gas and electric stoves, clothes dryers, water heaters, etc. In general, I think it helps.
I bought used and I have a cough in winter. The gas is on and the windows are closed. The doctor diagnosed asthma and did not bother to check the ventilation. By the way, there was an incident where the donkey stopped working and I called the boy with the donkey. I inspected the roofs and found a lot of partially burnt paths and nest material, which is in the air ducts / vents at a depth of 60 cm from my dustbin. I feel nauseous from the nest material and the animals breathing through the well. We put a privacy screen on the door of the ceiling fan so that no animals could enter. The technician told me that there was carbon monoxide in the air (the carbon monoxide alarm did not go off) and that we were lucky to find it in time. Lesson learned: Clean the air ducts / ventilation slits once a year and make sure no animals can enter the vent from the roof area. Test for carbon monoxide every 6 months to 1 year. Check once a year.
MDR not at all. Electric heaters don't emit gases ... the only thing you can smell is the smell of burning dust when you first turn it on after a long summer.
Only gas problem

I bought used and I have a cough in winter. The gas is on and the windows are closed. The doctor diagnosed asthma and did not bother to ask me to check the ventilation. By the way, there was an incident where Mess stopped working and I called Mess Boy. I checked the holes and found a partially burned ramp and a lot of nesting material, which was in the air duct two feet deeper than my trash can. I feel nauseous from the nesting material and the animals breathing through the ducts. We installed screens on the roof fan doors to keep the animals out. The officer told me there was carbon monoxide in the air (the carbon monoxide alarm was not ringing) and we were lucky to catch it in time.
