Do Command strips stick to concrete block?
Command™ Products are intended for mostly smooth surfaces such as those listed above. However, our products will stick to painted, smooth cinder block (the type found inside many school and office buildings). We recommend waiting 28 days before use on fresh paint.

Why won’t my command strips stick to the wall?
Avoid adhering them to brick walls, textured wallpaper, concrete or timber. Strips work best on clean, smooth surfaces, so wipe the wall with isopropyl rubbing alcohol (methylated spirits) first. This will ensure your strip bonds properly with the wall.
Why won’t my command strips stick?
Any dust, dirt, or residue can make it hard for the adhesive to form a strong bond. I recommend cleaning the area with a Magic Eraser, because it’s quick and easy, and will thoroughly clean most surfaces. After using the Magic Eraser, wipe the area with rubbing alcohol to leave it squeaky clean.
