Metal wax or silicone is a great way to keep metal beads in position until you can secure them in place. Tooth wax is available in most supermarkets and supermarket health and beauty departments. If you can't find it, replace the silicone headphones you use for swimming (cut out a very small piece of the new clean headphones, of course). However, sometimes the silicone does not stick to the wax regularly, and the silicone adhesive often requires the area to be completely dry.
If you are really dirty, a small piece of sugar-free gum may suffice if you stick it on a metal bead.
Also, you need to go to the dentist and get a spring replacement.
