Some churches have long pews with backs called pews. Other churches have individual seats arranged in rows. It's called a chair.
However, the long drink where the circus or other dignitaries of the church sit in the choir is called stall, not drink.
Some older churches may have very high choir seats and small shelves that represent the height of the palace. This is for monks. Ideally, they should stand during their shifts, but in practice they can relieve some pressure from their legs without sitting. This is called mercy.
