Chicken Kiev Packet Blown Up

Chicken Kiev Packet Blown Up

What does it mean when a package of raw chicken blooms in the fridge? 3

I have a package of raw chicken in the fridge to make fujita, and the plastic in the wrapping is inflated as if it had air in it. The package arrived from the supermarket without opening. Does this mean that you have foodborne illness or contamination?

If you bought it a day or two ago, get it back as soon as possible, that's bad.

If you have it for a week or more, throw it away.

I work in the meat and dairy industry. Although the chicken may be fine and may just be full of air in the package, it is possible that the chicken may be contaminated with some form of sporulation. The shape of the egg (MOLD) won't hurt you, but why arrange less virgin meat for the price you pay?

I prefer to return it to the store because they give you a package you don't have to think twice about!

Take it back

Chickens produce some kind of gas.

Your refrigerator may not be cold enough or the packaging may be at room temperature for a long time.

Anyway, that's a bad sign.

The chicken is gone. Do not open it or return it to the store from which you purchased it and you must not damage it unless you have a previous sale / use date.

Uh, that sounds like it.

Did you buy it Should I return it or throw it away?

Abdominal pain is not dangerous.

You can bribe someone to get your chicken. Buy a gas mask and tweezers to remove it. Or contact the Poison Control Center.

There may be something strange in the package.

If you open the chicken, it stinks. If it stinks, don't cook it

You can pull it off. Sorry, better caution.
