We entered with barely an ingot of interest in precious metal, simply wanting to visit one of London’s ‘secret catacombs’. London Silver Vaults is on the corner of Chancery Lane and Southampton Buildings, open Mon-Fri, 9am to 5.30pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Entrance is free, and you can just walk in.
