When working on multiple scenes, each scene that is modified will need its changes saved, so it is possible to have multiple unsaved scenes open at the same time. Scenes with unsaved changes will have an asterisk shown next to the name in the scene divider bar. Each Scene can be saved separately via the context menu in the divider bar.
