Can you make a cake on an ordinary sheet of aluminum foil? 3
Since I don't have a cookie cutter or cookie tray, I lost control.
We only have aluminum foil.
Can it catch fire and interfere with my use?
Does not burn when used. At best they will have pits under the oven grill, at worst they will cook unevenly.

You can. Not me, but my sister is like you and she lost her cookie tray. MDR
She always makes cakes with just one sheet of aluminum foil. Roll the sides out for better grip when taking them out of the oven.
I wouldn't do that if I got one because it's too thin.
