All GM cars except the Carveti have been in the crane cakes since 2011 with the Decoss GM 5W30 oil. This is Rotella semi-synthetic oil. Go online and type in decoys oil and you will see all the other nodes that meet the decoys formula of your new car.

Let me give you a hint: you can buy a Walmart 5W30 Molly 1 that meets the standards for making decoys and your Chevrolet dealer will replace it at a very low price. The point is, the end result will be the same as if you bought a better GM deco for a synthetic oil, but better for all synthetic oils. Monitoring your car's oil consumption can allow longer distances between oil changes with Mole 1 than against GM decoys.

Page 1112 of the 2012 Chevrolet Malbo Owner's Handbook states:
Only use John oils that are equivalent to the specified Decosis 1 or higher SAE viscosity class. Suggested synthetic compounds ACDelco dexos 1. See January on page 1010.
On page 1011 of the manual, the list states:
SAE 5W30 viscosity rating for vehicles. Do not use the oil with different viscosities such as SAE 10W30, 10W40 or 20W50.
If you are in a cold area with a temperature below 20 F, drown
(Â Â29Â ° C), SAE 0W30 oil should be used. These viscosity class oils make it easy to cold press NS at very low temperatures. When choosing the right oil, always choose an oil that defines or equals Decosis 1.
